Per "Suede" is a synthetic suede made from 100% rayon with the look and feel of real suede. It has a 50/50 cotton/poly backing and yet it has no nap, so it doesn't matter which side of the thread comes up. And it is strong!!! You can stitch with it and it will not break! Even French knots (even on 18 Mesh). Use it for long and decorative stitches and 13/14 and 18 mesh. Basket weave can be done on 13/14 mesh.
